The surrealist artist Leonora Carrington, a former lover of Max Ernst was driven insane when Ernst was incarcerated. At one point she made a skull out of sugar giving it away to be eaten saying ‘love transforms death into sweetness’. What if there was a factory that produces LOVE? How does it effect machines and people working there? The film is a visual journey through metamorphosis of sugar and love. After 4 years of research, the film is currently being shot in old sugar mills of India, states of Maharashtra and Uttar Pradesh that have long history and tradition of sugar manufacturing.

The film is a gothic fairy tale, following the process of sugar manufacturing in facinating factories of India.
